Smoothies are always an easy meal solution. They’re quick, convenient and can pack a ton of nutrition in one cup. Not to mention, they sometimes taste just like ice cream… or in this case, carrot cake.

I amped up this carrot cake smoothie recipe with a little Beam TLC CBD oil. I know what you’re thinking… CBD oil? Tell me more.

CBD oil is a natural essential oil extracted from the flowers and leaves of the cannabis plant. So now that we’ve cleared up the details of CBD, let’s get back to this delicious carrot cake smoothie I used it in, shall we?

This thick and creamy smoothie is packed with fiber, fat and a bit of protein for the perfect trifecta. Boiled carrots, oats, frozen banana, dates, coconut oil and cashews make for a delicious blend, followed by a dash of cinnamon and a drop of CBD. Make sure to gently shake your CBD before use by the way!


Prep time: 10 minutes

Serves: 2

3 large carrots, boiled

1/2 c oats

1 frozen banana

3 pitted dates

1 tbsp. cashews

1/2 tsp coconut oil

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1 drop Beam Natural CBD oil

1 1/2 c almond milk
